What is a "convex" mirror?

A convex mirror, sometimes known also as 'domed' or 'curved' mirror, is a type of mirror which has curved face. The curved face, dependent on the degree of curvature, allows for a larger field of vision than your usual flat surfaced mirror. The larger the curvature, the larger the field of vision, however there can be some distortion in the reflected image.
